If you’re looking for a quiet place to stay away from the crowds you might want to try the northern zone, which includes places such as San Miguel and Corpus Christi. Always travel in a group or travel in the main areas of Cozumel. While it’s a fairly safe area, no matter where you travel you will find less than savory locations so it’s best to know where you are at and be surrounded by others.
